Fraxel Dual

The Fraxel Dual Laser is the premier micro ablative device on the market to date. This laser treatment is recommended for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, delivering remarkable results with minimal downtime. The laser’s 1550 nm and 1927 nm wavelengths, combined with proprietary advancements in optical technology, enables patients to uncover the skin of their youth with minimal disruption to their daily routine.

The Dual Fraxel is able to precisely target microscopic areas of the skin, using laser scanning technology to eliminate old, damaged skin cells and penetrate beyond the skin’s surface. Fraxel treatment stimulates the body’s own natural healing process for replacing damaged skin with fresh, glowing, healthy skin.

The Dual Fraxel laser applications treat the following:

  • Skin Rejuvenation
  • Acne Scars
  • Scar Revisions
  • Decollate
  • Back of Hands
  • Stretch marks old and new
  • Photodamage
  • Mild to moderate wrinkles
  • Uneven pigmentation
  • Actinic keratoses
  • Pigmented Lesions

An effective treatment regimen is typically 3 to 5 sessions spaced one month apart.  The Fraxel treatment is customized for each individual based on the patient’s skin condition as well as lifestyle to achieve the desired outcome. Results are both immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually visible in 1 to 2 months. This timeframe and treatment protocol allow for complete healing and the production of new collagen and elastin to replace the damaged tissue. The Fraxel DUAL procedure can last anywhere between 20-40 minutes for a full face. A topical anesthetic is used to the treat the area beforehand.  Post treatment instructions and all other questions will be discussed during your consultation with the doctor.

GentleLASE

The GentleLase safely removes unwanted hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. The GentleLase, a revolutionary long-pulse high energy laser emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed.  The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.  The GentleLase selectively helps to protect the skin, while effectively treating the unwanted hair.  The GentleLase is effective for treating the following conditions:

  • Hair Removal
  • Permanent hair reduction on all skin types
  • Pigmented Lesions
  • Sun Spots/Age Spots
  • Freckles
  • Cafe-au-lait spots
  • Venous Lakes
  • Leg Veins

The intense heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, which inhibits future hair growth. Unlike shaving, waxing and plucking, laser hair removal provides a long-term growth delay and permanent hair reduction. Although laser hair removal effectively slows hair growth, it doesn't guarantee permanent hair removal. It typically takes several laser hair removal treatments to provide an extended hair-free period. Periodic maintenance treatments might be needed as well.

VBeam Perfecta

The Vbeam is a non-ablative, advanced pulse dye laser that produces an intense but gentle burst of light that selectively destroys the blood vessels of vascular lesions without damaging the surrounding skin and tissue. V-Beam treatment has minimal side effects, including possible temporary bruising.  The V-Beam treats a variety of conditions including:

  • Red and brown skin discoloration
  • Vascular lesions
  • Facial veins
  • Leg veins
  • Hemangiomas
  • Rosacea
