Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to the recent developments in the spread of the virus and out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing the office beginning this Friday March 20 and at least through Friday March 27 for all previously scheduled visits. We have taken this step for the health, safety, and well-being of our patients and staff. In the meantime, we want to assure you that we will continue to be answering our phones and be accessible for any emergency that may arise. Please call our office if you need us during this time at (516) 829-0050.
If you were scheduled for an appointment anytime between this Friday March 20 through Friday March 27, our staff will be reaching out to you to cancel the appointment. We are doing our best to figure out when the appropriate time will be to reschedule. In view of this and because the nature of the virus is unknown, we are currently keeping all of these patients on a high priority waitlist and will be in touch as soon as possible to reschedule.
We are actively working on implementing Teledermatology in order to serve our patients remotely with a virtual doctor visit. As soon as that is up and running, we will be in touch again.
Again, we will continue to be answering our phones and be accessible for any emergency that may arise. Please call our office if you need us during this time.
Please take care of yourselves. We hope you, your family, and your friends remain safe during this time.
